I found this article at autospeed.com and thought you might be interested in reading it: 'Taking Car Pics' - What to look for when you're behind the camera. AutoSpeed is quickly arriving at our 1000
th
article. Given that each article contains between a few and 20 pics, that means that so far we've run around 10,000 photos. By far the majority of those pics were taken just for AutoSpeed, and so were always designed to be seen on the small screen. There's major difference between pictures of cars shot for, say, a print magazine, and those destined to be used on-line. But, by the same token, there are lots of similarities as well. So what sort of criteria should you address if you want to take pics that will be used on AutoSpeed, or for that matter on your own website? While we could give a blow-by-blow description of rules and techniques, better that we look at a whole lotta pics - and tell you what's good and what's bad about each of them. You can read the article at: http://www.autospeed.com/A_0931/cms/article.html
