A few issues ago we showed you some of the car artistry of AutoSpeed readers in the Forum Cyber Cars competition. This time we move onto the Audi S3, an ancient Corona and the Ford Ka.
Audi S3
It's sweet looking little thing, ain't it? Well some of our readers thought Audi could do with a big hand in making some improvements!
Meet Kristo's Audi S3 Sandman! Resplendent in Dragways, it's - er - some machine!
And then he was back for a second go. It isn't as if Kristo's on mind-altering drugs, it's just that he sees stuff in a kinda different way to everyone else. What is it? - it's the Audi S3 Pikes Peak challenger of course!
Obviously working with a lot simpler software some of the others, here's GutterMcMouth's dumped and huge-wheeled S3.
"Gentlemen and Ladies," says GSRman, "I now unveil the S3-R!"
"Ahhh ahh yay yay oooh!!" says the crowd (he hopes).
Taking a more subtle (realistic?) approach was Phido. He had it slightly lower, a massive amount of little front end tweaks, altered skirting, tint, blinker and rear light changes, and a small rear wing.
Then Phido was back again, this time with a ute version....actually a ute convertible.
An Audi S3 beach wagon, was kula_wrx's preferred option.
Aaaahhhh! That colour change, plus a chopped roof and different wheels from Richie.
At least this one's got some sorta historical context! Inspiration was an old S1 Audi Quattro Group B rally car.
Looking almost subtle in this company is rs-turbo's package.
Corona
And for a total change of pace - but certainly not creativity - how about re-modelling this Corona?
Kristo rose to challenge in spectacular style: "Here's one fo all yo homies with da bitches wowkin tricks onda streets. Be seen in dis bullet proof Toyopimp 2000..."
Followed shortly thereafter by Escort_RS, who went for cubes...
Ford Ka
For all of the derision that its ancient engine gets, not too many people think that the Ford Ka is understyled... more the opposite if anything.
Obviously into little Fords, Escort_RS went for the big changes - the front bar and headlights from a Ford Puma, TSW Evo-R wheels, and a spoiler off a Ferrari.
